From ~£10 (cheeseburger, indicative)

Indicative price at the time of review.

Bleecker built its reputation on doing one thing exceptionally: a dry-aged beef patty with American cheese, onion and a 'secret sauce' in a toasted seeded bun, per its own menu. In 2026 it was ranked the world's best burger by World's 101 Best Burgers, capping years on Time Out's London best-burger lists. It trades from around eight sites across the city (Spitalfields, Seven Dials, Soho, Victoria, London Bridge, Baker Street, Bloomberg and Westfield White City), and the model is deliberately spartan: counter service, limited seating, cashless and no bookings at most kiosks. The cheeseburger is priced around £10 on its menu (indicative), with the chilli-and-blue-cheese 'Angry Fries' a signature side. Choose Bleecker when the patty itself is the whole point: it takes the world's-best crown a single place above fellow London independent Black Bear (though Black Bear counters on value), and against sit-down Honest it wins on patty pedigree but gives up bookings, a bigger menu and table comfort.

The good & the bad

Pros

  • Its signature burger was named the world's best for 2026 by World's 101 Best Burgers
  • Dry-aged beef and a tight, focused menu keep quality consistent across branches
  • Around eight central locations, so one is rarely far away

Cons

  • Most kiosks are counter-service and cashless, with little seating and no bookings
  • Queues are common at peak times at the busiest sites
