Satan's Whiskers is the connoisseur's neighbourhood pick and the best value of the group: No.21 in the World's 50 Best Bars 2025 and named the UK's No.1 by the Top 50 Cocktail Bars in 2019, 2023 and 2025. Its menu changes every single day, drawn from roughly 900 classic and modern-classic cocktails — the opposite of a fixed themed hotel list, and a reason regulars return. The room is deliberately informal: around 50 seats, taxidermy on exposed brick and an old-school hip-hop soundtrack. It beats Nightjar below it on value and cocktail purity — great classics at ££ prices with no cover charge or minimum spend — but there is no live music, it is walk-in or phone-ahead only, and you must be seated to be served, so peak-time seats can be scarce.
