Billed as Liverpool's first street food market, Baltic Market opened in 2016 inside the cavernous Cains Brewery Village in the Baltic Triangle, and leans firmly into the party side of street food. Around ten independent traders cover Neapolitan pizza, Nashville-style fried chicken, Thai, Italian subs and the obligatory halloumi fries, backed by cocktails, craft beer, DJs and live music. It is walk-in friendly with no time limits on tables, dog-friendly, and strong on vegan and gluten-free options. It is closed Monday and Tuesday and has fewer traders than the big food halls, so it is more about atmosphere than sheer choice. Daytime is relaxed and family-friendly; from Friday night it becomes one of the liveliest rooms in the city.
