A powerful 750W motor and a 1.5m built-in hose let you reach awkward spots, and the 2.8L clean / 2.2L dirty tanks are generous for a portable. At 5.9kg it is far easier to lift, carry and store than a full-size machine, which is what makes it the tool people actually pick up for a fresh accident rather than lugging out an upright. The trade-offs are that it covers large areas slowly - it is not a whole-room deep cleaner - and the warranty is 3 years, shorter than the uprights above.
