The Lord Clifden

The Lord Clifden on Great Hampton Street is a long-standing Jewellery Quarter pub with over 160 years of history and a well-known urban street-art collection on its walls - framed prints from the likes of Banksy and Nick Walker, part of the owner's collection rather than originals. It reopened in February 2026 under new management following a refurbishment, and now serves Indian dishes alongside its pub menu; Sunday roasts continue to run all afternoon, from noon to 7pm, with a choice of roast meats (reviews cite beef, lamb and pork) plus a vegetarian option. Its all-day service and short walk from Jewellery Quarter station make it more spontaneous than The Bell, and it takes our highest experience score for atmosphere; the trade-off is that the kitchen is under a new team, so it is worth confirming the roast when you book.
