If you want effective allergy filtration without a phone app or ongoing fuss, the MeacoClean CA-HEPA 119x5 is a sound value choice from a well-regarded British home-climate brand. It runs a five-stage filtration stack topped by an H13 HEPA layer plus carbon, covering pollen, dust and pet dander alongside odours. A built-in particle sensor drives an auto mode and a colour air-quality indicator, so it reacts to conditions on its own; you simply don't get the Wi-Fi, scheduling and phone control of pricier rivals. Controls are physical and easy to live with, there's a timer and a quiet night mode, and it's rated for a decent-sized room. It won't clear a very large open-plan space as fast, but replacement filters are reasonably priced and the whole proposition is refreshingly transparent, a strong first purifier for allergy sufferers on a budget.
