Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool PH2 De-NOx
Our verdict · Superb as a do-it-all air-treatment machine; poor value if all you want is humidity.
Buy it if
You want one premium appliance to purify, humidify and cool year-round and budget isn't the deciding factor.
Skip it if
You simply want to raise humidity — a dedicated humidifier does that for a fraction of the price.

The PH2 De-NOx (model PH05), which Dyson launched in late 2025, replaces the older PH04 as the current flagship and does three jobs: it purifies (a K-Carbon plus HEPA system Dyson says captures 99.95% of particles down to 0.1 microns and adsorbs more NO₂ than before), humidifies from a 5L tank for up to around 36 hours of what Dyson calls hygienic humidification, and cools as a bladeless fan. On features and build it is in a class of its own here, which is why it out-scores the budget picks despite its price. But as a humidifier alone it is not dramatically better than the far cheaper Levoit or Meaco, and its value is the weakest in this list: the lowest current UK price is around £550, with an RRP nearer £700 (checked September 2026, prices vary widely by retailer). We rank it third rather than higher precisely because most people searching for a 'humidifier' don't need the purify-and-cool functions enough to justify the outlay. Choose it as an all-year air-treatment centrepiece, not as a value humidifier.
The good & the bad
Pros
- Genuine 3-in-1: purifies, humidifies and cools, with Dyson's most advanced filtration to date
- App and voice control, automatic sensing and a design and build well ahead of the rest of the field
Cons
- By far the most expensive here, and overkill if you only need to add moisture
- Filters and deep-clean cycles add ongoing cost and maintenance
