At an indicative £39.99 on Levoit's UK store (checked September 2026) it undercuts everything else here, which is why it scores highest on value despite modest features. Compared with the LV600S you lose warm mist, the big tank, smart control and the auto humidity sensor — this is a manual, single-purpose device — but for a nursery, box room or bedside table that simplicity is the point, and Levoit's near-silent 26dB running (lights off) and auto shut-off suit sleeping spaces. The honest limitation is capacity: it will struggle in a large open-plan living room, and like any ultrasonic unit it needs regular cleaning to stay hygienic.
