Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

Pembrokeshire is the only national park in the UK made up largely of coast, and its centrepiece is the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path from Amroth to St Dogmaels — one of Britain's great long-distance walks, walkable in bite-sized day sections. Families gravitate to the Blue Flag beaches around Tenby and Saundersfoot, the harbour town of Tenby itself, and boat trips to Skomer Island, where puffins nest within feet of the path in late spring and early summer. St Davids, Britain's smallest city, anchors the wilder northern coast. Rockpooling, coasteering, castles and gentle clifftop strolls make it the most rewarding UK park for a coastal family holiday.
