Cattows Farm at Heather has been farming since 1899 and is a fixture of the Leicestershire autumn, with a central location that makes it one of the easiest big patches to reach from across the Midlands. The October Halloween Farm event opens up generous pick-your-own fields alongside seasonal attractions and a farm shop and cafe, so there is more to the visit than the picking alone. It is a proper working-farm experience: expect open fields, wheelbarrows and, after rain, plenty of mud. One thing to note is that Halloween Farm tickets tend to be released closer to the season rather than far in advance, so it pays to follow the farm and book as soon as dates go live. Entry is modest and pumpkins are priced by size; treat our figures as indicative and confirm on the farm's website before you travel.
