The Gen5detect is Dyson at full stretch. Its Hyperdymium motor delivers the strongest suction of any Dyson cordless, and the whole machine is sealed to HEPA standard, so the air leaving it is cleaner than the room's, capturing particles down to 0.1 microns. The Slim Fluffy head throws a green laser across hard floors to reveal fine dust you would otherwise miss, while a piezo sensor counts and sizes particles on the LCD as you clean, then ramps power automatically. Run time stretches to around 70 minutes with the click-in, removable battery, and a combi crevice tool lives built into the wand so it is always to hand. It is heavier and pricier than most, but few cordless rivals are specced to clean as thoroughly.
