Powerbeats Fit takes the well-liked Beats Fit Pro formula and refines the flexible wingtip that tucks under the ridge of your ear to lock each bud in place. It is a genuinely secure fit for the money, with IPX4 sweat resistance, ANC and transparency, and up to 7 hours per charge (roughly 30 hours with the compact case). It runs on the same Apple platform as the Fit Pro rather than the newer H2, so you still get fast one-tap pairing on iPhone, while Android users get a companion app. It lacks the heart-rate sensor and longer battery of the pricier Powerbeats Pro 2, but for most runners who just want a bud that stays put without breaking the bank, it hits the value sweet spot.
The good & the bad
Pros
- Flexible wingtips give a reliable secure fit
- Noticeably cheaper than the Pro 2
- Compact, pocketable charging case
Cons
- No on-board heart-rate tracking
- Shorter battery life than rivals
