Fitbit built its reputation on making health data feel encouraging rather than intimidating, and the Inspire 3 is the purest expression of that for a first-timer. The bright colour AMOLED touchscreen shows steps, 24/7 heart rate, sleep stages and Active Zone Minutes at a glance, while the app turns the numbers into plain-English nudges and achievable goals rather than raw charts. It weighs next to nothing, battery life stretches to around ten days, and the silicone band is comfortable enough to wear overnight for sleep tracking. A six-month Fitbit Premium trial is included, and while the deepest insights (Daily Readiness Score, detailed sleep analysis) sit behind that subscription afterwards, the free tier still covers everything a beginner actually needs. The main compromise is no on-board GPS, so outdoor runs borrow your phone's signal for distance and pace.
