Samsung Galaxy Fit3

For anyone already living in the Android or Samsung world, the Galaxy Fit3 is the natural first step. Its generous 1.6-inch AMOLED display is large enough to feel almost like a small smartwatch, and data flows automatically into Samsung Health, the app many Galaxy owners already have on their phone. Battery life of up to around 13 days is strong for a screen this size, and it adds genuinely useful extras such as fall detection, alongside heart rate, SpO2, sleep tracking and more than 100 workout modes. It is rated 5ATM for swimming and built to a rugged MIL-STD-810H standard, so it shrugs off knocks and splashes. The one firm limitation to know before buying: the Fit3 is Android-only and will not pair with an iPhone, so it only makes sense if your phone runs Android.
