Black+Decker's heated airer is the value pick for households that want three tiers of drying space without paying flagship money. It offers around 18 metres of bar space across a folding frame, draws power in the same modest 300W ballpark as the Lakeland - so running costs stay at a few pence an hour - and carries a brand people recognise from tools and small appliances. The build feels a step below the Dry:Soon: the tubing is thinner, the bars can flex a little under heavier, wetter items, and there is no polished first-party cover, so you are relying on generic third-party covers to speed drying. None of that stops it drying a full load perfectly well overnight, and it folds down neatly for storage. If you want maximum capacity per pound, this is it.
