If a full three tiers is more than you need, the two-tier Dry:Soon is the sensible step down. It shares the same well-made aluminium frame, quiet operation and low energy use - around 220W, or roughly 5-6p an hour - but is far easier to squeeze into a spare room, hallway or bathroom, and it folds flat to slide behind a door or under a bed. With around 14 metres of heated bars it handles everyday couples' and small-household washes comfortably, though a big family load may need two rounds. As with the Deluxe, the tailored zip-up cover that transforms drying times is sold separately. For smaller homes and flats short on floor space, it hits the sweet spot between capacity and footprint without giving up any Dry:Soon reliability.
