It provides a workable three tiers with around 15 metres of heated bars, folds for storage and runs at the usual low wattage - roughly 300W, or a few pence an hour - so the electricity bill stays tiny. The trade-offs show in the details: the frame is lighter and wobblier than the Dry:Soon, the coating feels less hard-wearing over years of use, and there are no tailored covers or accessories, so you cannot easily box in the heat. Capacity per tier is a touch tighter than the Black+Decker, too. As an affordable everyday airer for average loads that you will not thrash daily, though, it does the core job dependably.
